7 Deadly Sins File Folder Game:  Gospel Matthew 25:31-46

Introduction – Are you without sin?  Are you righteous and will you receive eternal life?  Or will you go off to eternal punishment?  When the Son of Man comes he will separate one from another.  He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.  And the ones on the left will go off to eternal punishment, but the ones on the right who are righteous to eternal life.  *Only use the cards that are age appropriate.

  • Directions – Print out Directions, cut it out, and glue on front of file folder.
  • Game Board – Print out Game Board, trim and glue on the inside of the file folder.  Make sure the directions are on the front of the file folder.  Laminate or cover file folder with clear contact paper to make it last
  • Game Cards – Use these questions or make your own.  Print Game Cards out on card stock.  Cut out Game Cards.  Laminate or cover with clear contact paper to make them last.  Only use the questions that are age appropriate for your students.
  • Spinner – Make spinner according to the directions.  Keep inside file folder.
  • Tokens – Use these tokens or make your own.  Print out several pages of tokens out on card stock.  Cut out and laminate or cover with clear contact paper to make them last.

  1. I am very excited to try this game with my 4th grade CCD class. We just had our class cancelled for this evening because of snow, but I will let you know how we make out next week. I may try it out with my sons beforehand.
    I live in Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey and try hard to make the material interesting and fun (when possible and appropriate) for my class. I use the internet along with our Religious Education material and am always happy to find information and ideas that I can “borrow”.
