40 Bags of Stuff

I’m a bit late, but I’m hoping to jump on the bandwagon this week and start participating in 40 trashbag challenge during the rest of Lent. At her Simply Catholic blog, Darcee is looking for items around her home that can be cleaned up and given away.  She’s even started a Facebook group to help encourage participants.  I’m sad to admit that I do likely have at least forty trashbags worth of stuff in my home that could be reused, recycled or retired.  Thank you Darcee for the motivation!

  1. HI Lisa

Best of luck. It is great to get rid of clutter and junk. However act with moderation as in a fit of zeal we got rid of some books which we now regret turfing. I also chuck some broken china, osme lovley old rose cup bits and sadly found to my regret one of the ladies in our parish does mosiac wokr and is looking for such stuff.

You so girl!!! I am not a saver so finding enough things in my home to fill 40 bags wouldn’t be possible. I live by the motto, “less is more.” I applaud you and all of the “savers” who attempt this. Even if you find only 20 bags ~ Congratulations!!! L.
