Olivia and the Little Way Book Contest

This week, we are pleased to offer your chance to win one of three copies of the great new book, Olivia and the Little Way by Nancy Carabio Belanger.

Here’s a brief description of this book:

Fifth grader Olivia Thomas has moved to a new school in a new state, and is eager to make friends! Her best friend quickly becomes someone she has never seen: St. Therese of Lisieux. Follow Olivia’s trials as she tries to fit in at St. Michael’s School. With the help of her grandmother, she learns about the Little Way of serving God and how it can change everything!

To enter, you must leave a comment on this post with a valid email address (which won’t be published or shared) before Midnight PST on Saturday, May 30, 2009.  I’ll draw a random winners and announce the names over the weekend.

Update: Our prize winners are Holly (#21), Terri (#25) and Gizelle (#18) – they will receive their books soon!  A new contest is now up and running here, so be sure to enter!

  1. What a great book! I’m sure my 11 year-old would enjoy it. Thanks for helping us moms find good reads for the kiddies!

  2. Thanks for sharing info on this book. It sounds like a good book to read to my daughter at bedtime.

Although my Olivia is not quite old enough for this book, it sounds like a good book for her when she’s ready.

  4. My fifth grade niece must leave her Catholic school to attend public school this fall (no tuition money). This sounds like a perfect book for her in a new setting.

  5. This is a book I plan to purchase…someday. I’ve heard so many good things about it! That said, winning it would be great too. (Not that I will, but still, thanks for the chance to try!)

  7. My Goddaughter, Olivia – a fifth grader, recently moved to a new city/new school, and when I saw this book I just knew it would be a perfect birthday gift for her. I’d love to win a copy, but if not I’ll be purchasing one for her. God bless.

  8. This book sounds perfect for my 11 year old daughter. Please enter me in to the drawing. God bless –

Thank you so much for sharing your talents and spirituality with all of us. I know my 3 little ones with love it!!!

  10. Thanks for sharing. This would be great now that we’ve finished with our Little Flower Girls club for the year. And with a potential move for us this fall, just the perfect read for my 2 girls!

St. Therese is a wonderful friend in Heaven…this book sounds like treasure! I was about in the 5th grade when I began my friendship with her…it has continued all of these years. Thank you for considering me in the contest.

  12. My daughters would enjoy this — especially since we will be moving this summer and they will be making new friends at a new school.
