The Veritas Project

Editor’s Note: Today, I am extremely happy to share the following guest article by Scott Porter and Bryan Gesinger of The Veritas Project. Scott and Bryan are working to create an amazing resource for Catholic families. I hope you’ll visit  frequently and help spread the word. You’ll find a great cross section of catechetical resources, prayer tools, and practical reference information to assist you in your faith journey. LMH

The Veritas Project

We would like to thank Lisa Hendey and for inviting us to spread the word about our website, is our little brainchild that started about two years ago. The idea was an extension of our mutual experiences. Bryan has been defending our Catholic faith since he was in high school. Scott, a convert to Catholicism, has been involved in Catholic marketing and religious education since his conversion. As friends for the last 14 years, we have worked together to learn and to share our faith while creating reference notes. Realizing that we were not alone in our endeavors to expand our knowledge, and to explore, to learn, and to impart our Catholic faith, we started to formulate a plan to share with our fellow Catholics. We have implemented this plan with a mission: to assist Catholic teachers, parents, and students of religion to discover the splendor and truth of the Catholic Church by providing authentic Catholic teaching and resources in a clear, easily accessible, and convenient manner, which will prepare them spiritually and academically to be active members in the Body of Christ.

This mission is the impetus of our website,, which works on both desktop PCs and mobile phone web browsers. We plan to update the site on a continual basis, with additional content and links to the best resources we can find for our users. In the future, we plan to partner with a Catholic diocese to raise funds for Catholic schools and for Peter’s Pence, which supports the Pope’s philanthropy by giving the Holy Father the means to provide emergency assistance to those in need due to natural disaster, war, oppression, and disease.

Please help us spread the word about to your family and friends. We have included a FaceBook “Like” button and e-mail link on our home page to make sharing this resource easier. Thank you for your time and interest.  Your prayers are greatly appreciated!
