Missal Resources

A special thank you to Daniel McCormick of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Birmingham, Alabama. Daniel wrote to offer our readers the following resources to aid with preparation for the new translation of the Roman Missal. (Please note that the pages are formatted for booklet printing and will appear to be out of order):

  • The Illustrated Mass – (7.2 MB) This was given out to 4K-4th graders. It includes some representative selections from the various parts of the Mass, along with pictures, reflections, related scriptural passages, and a glossary.
  • The Prayers of the Mass – (5.4 MB) – This booklet was given out to 5th-8th graders. It includes the prayers of a complete Mass, along with rubrics, pictures, related scriptural passages, and a glossary.

    Really enjoying the activity sheets, for my Faith Formation class. I seem to have difficulty finding these activities at the change of every month. Now I am looking for the January lesson plans! Thank you!
