Win Weightless

One of my favorite books in 2011 came from my dear friend and fellow Catholic blogger Kate Wicker. Weightless: Making Peace with Your Body was released last August and continues to receive rave reviews from those who have been inspired by Kate’s wonderful take on the important connections between body image, healthy living and personal spirituality. In my endorsement of Kate’s book, I said:

With striking honesty and a sincerity that shows the beauty of her soul, Kate Wicker’s words in Weightless point readers to the true formula for health of body, mind, and spirit. By sharing her own story, Kate has created a resource that will support and uplift women of any age, vocation, or station in life.

I continue to believe that Kate’s book is a fundamental resource for any woman looking to come to peace with her physical body, but more importantly with her soul. This week, I’m happy to share the great news that Kate is donating a signed copy of Weightless for one of our lucky readers.

To enter to win Kate Wicker’s fantastic book Weightless, simply leave a comment on this article (in the comments section only, not the Facebook section), and you will be entered in the contest. The deadline to enter is Monday, February 20th at midnight Pacific Standard Time. The winner must have a U.S. mailing address and will be notified by email after 2/21/12.

Update: Congratulations to our winner, Jennifer #15.

I enjoy your articles, particularly your book recommendations. I now have more books on my “to read” list than I will ever get to. But if I should win Weightless, it will go to my daughter who struggles with loving herself. My thanks to you and Kate for offering a copy of the book to a reader.
