May 6, 2012 – 5th Sunday of Easter

    • WWJD? File Folder Game – Introduction- Listen to what Jesus said, “I am the vine and you are the branches.  Whoever remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 If we keep our life connected to Jesus, we will grow. Our life will produce beautiful leaves and delicious fruit. But if we are separated from Jesus, our leaves will wither and die and we will never put forth any fruit.  So how does Jesus want us to live? Directions – Print out Directions and cut it out. Game Board – Print out Game Board, trim, and glue on the inside of the file folder. Make sure the directions are on the front of the file folder. Laminate or cover file folder with clear contact paper to make it last. Game Cards - Use these or make your own. Print Game Cards out on card stock. Cut out Game Cards. Laminate or cover with clear contact paper to make them last. Spinner – Make spinner according to the directions.

May 13, 2012 – 6th Sunday of Easter, Holy Name Sunday, Mother’s Day

    • Random Acts of Kindness File Folder Game - The Gospel of John presents Jesus as saying: “Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood you have no life within you … whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me and I in him.” John 6:53-56. So how does Jesus want us to live? He wants us to treat each other with kindness.
      • Directions – Print out Directions, cut it out, and glue on front of file folder.
      • Game Board – Print out Game Board, trim, and glue on the inside of the file folder. Make sure the directions are on the front of the file folder. Laminate or cover file folder with clear contact paper to make it last.
      • Tokens - Use these tokens or make your own. Print out several pages of tokens out on card stock. Cut out and laminate or cover with clear contact paper to make them last.
    • Back Talk Game (Honor Your Father& Mother) – Gospel John 14:15-21: If you love me you will keep my commandments. John 14:15. One of the ways you show that you love God is to obey your parents and honor them with respect.

  2. So sorry — I had them all online last week for both of the last two weekends but it looks like they got lost in the move over. I will add them back on before going to bed tonight after giving my family dinner. Sorry for the inconvenience.
