Small Success Thursday: You’re a Winner!

Small Success Thursday
Leave your small successes in the com box or a link to your blog, and then give yourself a pat on the back, because this past week, you were a source of grace to others, and you worked hard. Good job!
This past week I:
1) Shopped with daughter to find her bridesmaid’s dress, ordered it.
2) Mailed a package to my mom, and a second one to my brother.
3) Won tickets on the radio to go to a breakfast with the band on Thursday morning!
4) Exercised (walking) Friday, Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday thanks to all the ladies in this group who inspire with their exercise regimen…it’s progress.
5) Continued working on Helen, wrote a major component (20 pages).
6) Dryer arrived. Clothing now can be folded and put away…I can catch up on the laundry….wait.
7) Began reading the Hobbit with my eight year old son. I’m just prepping him for December when Jackson’s film comes out.
I look forward to seeing what all of you have been up to this week.

Good to pause and reflect on the week behind us. This past week I:
1. Planned and implemented my social media fast as a part of our #silenceandword campaign for World Communications Day
2. Took a major step forward in a project I’m working on
3. Got caught up on the mountain of email in my inbox (still huge, mind you, but smaller)
4. Listened to and prayed for a loved one who is going through a pretty devastating emotional crisis…
This week I stuck with a decision to keep our family first and foremost, even though it involved disappointing a daughter. http://everydayeo.blogspot.com
Thankfully, the disappointment was short lived. Thank you, Jesus!
A wise decision that you won’t regret later in life!

#6 gave me a chuckle…laundry is never caught up w/ just six of us so I can only imagine how it is for your family!

Oh the joy of a cleaned out cabinet! I have a few of those that need attention!
1.I ran 2 miles this morning
2.I got a project for my daughter so much closer to completion, after working on it for a few years!
3.Made it to adoration at least for a short time yesterday.
Adoration — what a blessing! And hooray for two miles! Have you been building up to that?
mine are…
1. got to CostCo and only spent $98!!! We have snacks for the rest of the school year from that trip
2. took the boys for haircuts
3. bought awards for final cub scout meeting. had that meeting on Tuesday
Costco for under $100 should count as a super-sized success!

Congratulations on finishing the school year! We have one more week left to go… can’t wait for summer vacation!
