About The Author
Sherry Boas is author of the highly-acclaimed Lily Series, which began with Until Lily and has grown into an expanding collection of novels whose characters’ lives are unpredictably transformed by a woman with Down syndrome. The latest novel in the series is The Things Lily Knew. Sherry made her debut into youth fiction with Billowtail, a novel that chronicles the adventures of a band of squirrels on the Way of St. James in Medieval Spain. She is also author of A Mother’s Bouquet: Rosary Meditations for Moms and the novel, Wing Tip, a unique tale of relentless love about a priest whose mother’s deathbed confession reveals a shocking family secret. Sherry’s first children’s book Little Maximus Myers (Tau Publishing), tells the tale of an altar boy too small to carry the cross and who comes to understand that our limitations can bring us closer to Christ. Although Sherry won numerous awards in her ten-year career as a journalist for a daily newspaper, it was her vocation as a mother that would best prepare her for an author's career. For her, truth resounds and inspiration abounds in the struggles and triumphs of every-day family life. She is owner of Caritas Press, publisher of a series of rosary meditations for moms, dads, children, altar servers, teens and grandparents. The company also published Miraculous Me, a children’s book that reveals the thoughts of parents seeing their baby on ultrasound for the first time. Sherry is currently working on the fifth in the Lily Series, Things Unknown to Lily, and considering a sequel to Billowtail since she misses her squirrel friends so much. Sherry and her husband, Phil, are the joyful, special needs, adoptive parents of four warm-hearted and highly-adrenalized human beings, who make life rich beyond belief. They live in Arizona. You can find Sherry's work at LilyTrilogy.com, CaritasPress.org, CatholicWord.com and in Catholic book stores nationwide.
