If you’re not yet following “Catholic Sistas” on Pinterest, you’ve been missing out! This Pinterest account belongs to the blog of the same name. While they’ve got several great Pinterest boards, my personal favorite is the Catholic Sistas board which features articles from the blog. Each of the pins on this board gives enough of a highlight of the blog post to be a great enticement to click through and read the full post. You’ll also want to check out their other great boards including Catholic Style and All Things Garden.

And here’s this week’s tip of the week from Allison Girone of the Catholic Pinterest Group Board who has kindly agreed to offer a weekly pointer for us on how to use some best practices to enjoy and effectively employ Pinterest:
See something that you just know a friend will like? Tag them. In the comments of the pin tell them, write @ immediately followed by their name. Click on the confirmation picture to your friend’s Pinterest and they will be notified of that pin. To do so in a more private way, click on the pin to open in its own page then click on the email feature found to the right and email the pin to them.

Thank you *so* much for the spotlight on Catholic Sistas! I have recently become personally interested in Pinterest – before I didn’t get it and asked a contributor with a Pinterest addiction to handle the account. I have watched and learned and seen it grow since we started in January and, I have to say, this is probably the next big thing with Catholic networking. It is quite remarkable to have all these amazing Catholic articles of interest in one place.
