Small Success Thursday: Date Night

Small Success Thursday – share yours!

Sometimes, joy seems to snow and blanket the world. This was my week.

My home had my college student son move out, plus the teens and the kids except for the two babies, started school. The house got quiet. It was surreal.

Additionally, we had the rare experience of two date nights this past weekend, one to a party and one to dinner out.

Lastly (and I have been sitting on this one), the book I’ve been writing for 5 years on Helen of Troy was accepted for publication! Expected publication date is May of 2013. I promise to think clearly some time before then but for now, I feel something between punch drunk and exploding with joy.

Lastly, it was the week of my friend’s memorial mass so I got to go and pray (in between chasing after my two toddlers who enjoyed their freedom in the back of the church) for her memory. She probably enjoyed that too.

Now it’s your turn!

Leave your list on your blog and list your blog in the comments or leave your small successes in the comment section itself and thanks for being part of Small Success Thursday!

  1. Sherry – kudos on the book! So exciting – I can’t wait to read and help share it!

My life was a bit crazy this past week, so my biggest “SS” feels like just making it through in one piece. We moved Eric in at college, which was bittersweet – fun for him, sad for mom and dad!

Attending the CMN/CNMC was wonderful and I’d call it a “success” since we launched our new Books partnership with Ave Maria Press – I hope it will provide tons of amazing resources for Catholic Moms everywhere.
