Help Support the Family of Officer Patrick O'Rourke

3

Please take six minutes and watch this video of Amy O’Rourke, a Catholic wife and mom — the widow of Police Officer Patrick O’Rourke who was killed on Sunday by a gunshot wound. In this heart-wrenching video, Amy speaks of her love for Patrick and how her faith is helping her to face the unthinkable loss of a beloved spouse. Amy’s testimonial here is a master class in letting one’s faith truly shine. She shares the family’s experience of attending Mass together on Sunday and how Patrick so greatly loved the Lord. Please watch this and share it with your friends.

I ask you to please also visit the Facebook Page setup to honor Officer Patrick O’Rourke. Finally, if you would like to help this family, a trust fund has been established for the couple’s children under “The Patrick O’Rourke Family Trust” and contributions can be made at any Bank of America branch or checks  payable to “The Patrick O’Rourke Family Trust” can be mailed to:

  1. I live just minutes from West Bloomfield and am so heartbroken over this terrible tragedy. I pray that your Catholic Mom readers and advocates will help in this time that contains pain beyond measure.

Thank you Lisa for posting this on this wonderful site. When I watched the interview, I knew I had to share it with you. Amy has inspired me to be a better Catholic, mom, wife, and daughter. Apparently, Amy’s interview has touched many people as it has been requested multiple times. She is an inspiration. Thank you again for sharing it.
