Wedding Feasting with the Practicing Catholic

We’re reflecting on the second luminous mystery of the rosary today as part of our celebration of the launch of A Catholic Mother’s Companion to Pregnancy.

The Wedding Feast is always one that makes me smile. A friend once pointed out, “God knows how to throw the best parties!” and what better proof than this?

They’re out of wine, and Jesus doesn’t just refill: he OVERfills! And not just with run-of-the-mill wine, but with the very best.

Translating that into my own life, I can just imagine how he’ll overfill me with better than I even know to ask for…if only I’ll step back and let him.

Our host today is Lisa Schmidt at The Practicing Catholic. You’ll find my reflection on the Wedding at Cana there, as well as the prayers.

I hope you’ll join us today–and each day of the tour–while we pray together for all of our intentions. I have a special set of intentions that I’m carrying with me as I pray this, and I will remember each of yours as well.

Don’t forget that you can enter to win a Nook tablet as we pray and help us celebrate the launch of the latest title in the book line. You can enter once a day during from now until October 28.
