My Top 2 Rosary Apps
By - Posted on October 15, 2012
I was going to pass on writing a Tech Talk column this week. I mean, I’ve been here twice a day for over a week (on days like today, more than that)…surely y’all are getting sick of me.
But I can’t resist. I love October for so many reasons, and among the top of that list is that it’s the month of the rosary.
Allow me to introduce you to my Top 2 Rosary Apps for iOS. (I’ve listed links to recent Android reviews from our team at the bottom of this post.)

If you have only one rosary app, get this one. It’s beautiful. It’s easy to use. It encapsulates the journey through the rosary in a way that’s both brilliant and somehow humbling.
I love the integration of scripture, the artwork, and the overall design of it. It’s easy to use and intuitive.
I’ve reviewed it at length here. The gist of it, though, is that it’s my go-to rosary app. Period.

This is the rosary app that got my husband praying the rosary. It also warmed me to using our electronic devices as prayer books, first thing in the morning.
It lets you customize your beads. There’s beautiful artwork associated with each mystery and it works flawlessly every time.
Well worth your investment. It’s an app I keep coming back to, and I never expected to find a better rosary app. It does what it says, and it does it well.
How about you?
What’s YOUR favorite rosary app?
I may or may not be hovering over the comments waiting for great recommendations…

I love the relatively new one, “Mary” by the Marians of the Immaculate Conception. You can do it silently, manually, or with audio and automatic. They also have the Divine Mercy App which is set up the same way!
Yes! That one is great, Shannon! I’ll have to pull it out and use it! (I sometimes forget about apps that have the rosary as a component, you know? Thanks for reminding me!)
