You are Peter -- Catholic Pinterest Board of the Week

Have you been away from Pinterest with the busyness of the holidays and the restarting of school? I have! So I greatly enjoyed spending time this week visiting some new and awesome Catholic Pinterest boards. Among the was this week’s board “You are Peter and upon this rock I will build My Church…” by pinner Madeleine Wenske. The board features Marian images, cool Catholic memes and so much more — including this pin which is my personal favorite!

And here’s this week’s tip of the week from Allison Girone of the Catholic Pinterest Group Board who has kindly agreed to offer a weekly pointer for us on how to use some best practices to enjoy and effectively employ Pinterest:

It’s 2013 – a year with a 13….hmmm…how about a 13 board? Embrace the number…what 13 things can you pin on this board?  Will they have to do with the year itself?  Will they be a list of 13 goals? How about 13 favorite prayers? 13 quotes? Something for each month…plus one more for GOOD luck!!

If you’re a Catholic using Pinterest, please drop a link in the comments below to share your boards. Also, I’d love to hear about why you love Pinterest and how you think this latest craze might be used to spread the Good News.
