Introducing the First CatholicMom.com Project!

It’s time to let you know about the project we’ve had up our sleeves. (That said, there are still a few itty-bitty details being finalized.)

This Lent, Lisa and I wanted to tap into the generosity of this community and our passion for the important work at pregnancy centers. My book, A Catholic Mother’s Companion to Pregnancy, seemed a place to start, so we gathered pregnancy center names last week.

And now, with Lent underway, we’re here to announce how we’re going to do this.

We set up a funding page at Indiegogo and, for every $10 donation that’s made, we’ll send a book to a pregnancy center.

This was made possible because of the great folks at Ave Maria Press.

CatholicMom.com and Ave Maria Press are partnering on this Lenten project to provide spiritual support to expecting mothers. We hope to send 50 copies of A Catholic Mother’s Companion to Pregnancy—a week-by-week spiritual companion for pregnant women—to 20 pregnancy centers around the United States. Your donations will be used solely to help us achieve this goal.

You can learn more about it here. We hope you will support it as enthusiastically as you submitted pregnancy centers. We’re excited about the opportunity this presents for all of us!
