Win Your Copy of "My Sisters the Saints" by Colleen Carroll Campbell

My-Sisters-the-SaintsEvery once in a while a book lands on my desk and gets caught deep in my soul – you know those “can’t put it down” tomes that simply must be read and shared? Today, I’ve got good news about one of those!

My Sisters the Saints was written by noted author, journalist and speaker Colleen Carroll Campbell. Having written a book myself about the saints, I can only say that Colleen’s book is a symphony, a gift, and a love letter to the spiritual giants about whom she writes: Teresa of Avila, Therese of Lisieux, Faustina of Poland, Edith Stein of Germany, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, and Mary of Nazareth. The beauty with which Colleen marries their journeys with her own will leave you inspired, educated and anxious to ponder your own relationships with the saints.

  1. This is the reading for our next book club meeting. We are 10 women who read only Catholic women authors. Over 13 years and more than 60 books. There sure are a lot more newly published Catholic women than there were 10 years ago!! Thanks for giving the book away.

This is amazing your giving away a copy!!. I would love this as I don’t have any Catholic books. I have the Catholic book for dummies that I was able to buy last Easter when I came back to Catholicism. Financially it’s been a struggle for us. I don’t even have a Catholic bible, I read a protestant one just so that I can read the bible. This would be the perfect gift if I won it! As I will be 32 on March 14th :). God bless and good luck to all!

I would love to read this…….I have sisters, sisters-in-laws, sisters of the heart, so this appeals to me!

  12. I am the co-leader of a new Women’s Fellowship Group at my parish church. My goal for the group is to help each of us grow our relationship with the Lord and with one another. I just finished reading “Wrapped Up — God’s Ten Gifts for Women” by Teresa Tomeo and Cheryl Dickow. It’s a beautiful book that lends itself to the discussions that help us achieve our goal. “My Sisters The Saints” sounds like another wonderful resource to add and use for our discussions.

This book appears to be following me around online…excerpts keep popping up in my online journeys, I find myself reading them (not realizing at first what it is I’m reading) and each time I tell myself I must buy this book. It speaks to me so strongly. I suppose I’ll definitely have to finally buy it if I don’t end up winning a copy! Thanks for the contest – and your website.

A new book on the lives of some of the key women Saints is an exceptional resource towards learning about their lives and applying their wisdom to our own life. If by chance, my name is selected, please give the book to Anne Gerard who I understand wants a copy to share with a women’s discussion group. That would be an exceptional use of the book for Anne.

  19. This sounds like a wonderful book and I would love to win a copy. I agree that it sounds like a good book for my closest girlfriends and I to read and share. Thanks for the opportunity!
