About Author

Laura Grace writes our lesson plans from St. Nicholas Chapel at the Pax River Naval Air Station in Patuxent River, Maryland. Visit Laura at her blog at The Catholic Toolbox. Elyse A. is a student who enjoys her faith and writing. Margaret Dwyer, a wife and mother of 4 children, lives in Easton, MA and runs Vacation Bible School at her parish in addition to teaching CCD and serving on the Pastoral Council. Margaret credits a friend's persistent urging to pray the Rosary and attend Mass during the week during a difficult time as a pivotal moment in her life, and feels called to bring Catholics to a deeper faith life by promoting the sacraments and the Rosary!

  1. I am stunned that I recommend this site to all my families, catechists and students and when I go to use it today i see a nearly nude lady advertising a all male gaming site – wjat is up with that??? I am disgusted by your choice of advertisers.

    • Jean – we do not select the advertisers. You are likely seeing a google ad. Please note the advertiser’s URL, copy it, and send it to me. I will have them banned immediately by google. Again, please note that this is not our decision (which advertisers they place). Each reader sees different ads, depending upon where you live, etc.

    • You can also download ad blockers for your browser. That way you can filter and block certain types of adds you don’t want to be exposed to. 😉

    • Lisa, generally those ad banners advertise things they feel you might be interested in based on the tracking of your visits to previous websites. Maybe someone that uses the same computer is visiting gaming sites and that is why google feels you would be interested I that sort of thing?
