  1. I love the Easter Vigil mass, especially when our church has new members joining. I also love the Good Friday mass, the church does such a wonderful job of making the mass so hauntingly beautiful & real.

  2. My favorite Holy Week tradition is Praying the Steps in Cincinnati. There is a set of 85 steps at Holy Cross Immaculata Church in Mt. Adams, OH. Every Good Friday, people pray the Rosary while climbing these steps up to the church’s front door. The first time I did it, I was five months pregnant with our first child. It was one of the hardest things I ever did, but I loved offering up the pain for Jesus. It is such an incredible sight to see so many people praying the Rosary together. If you are ever in the Cincinnati area during Holy Week, I highly recommend taking part in this tradition.

  3. My favorite Holy Week tradition is Holy Thursday Mass, celebrating the Eucharistic and the Priesthood all in one!

  4. I love the candles, readings, and singing at the Easter Vigil mass. But Easter Sunday is wonderful because everyone is so excited because is Christ is risen.

  5. washing feet, venerating the cross – so many one-time acts of prayer that shape my faith and impact my children.

  6. I love going to Mass on Good Friday. It’s a powerful reminder that Jesus suffered for our sins, and yet still loved us through his dying breath.
