Saintly Silver - Madonna and Child

Madonna and Child

From Saintly Silver

Kimberly Cook raved about these, and we’re thrilled to be able to share them with you in our giveaway! Here’s what the description page on Etsy says:

This item has been designed by me, hand cut, (no Die cutting here!) handstitched, machinestitched, and constructed with care! I’ve been designing Saint Softies for over 6 years now, and the original Saint Softie seller on etsy. My designs are made with Eco-Fi Felt, a felt made from recycled plastic bottles, and made in the USA. All other materials in the construction are made in the USA or Germany.

This listing is for one Saint Softie, with approximate measurements of 4 1/2″ L x 2 1/2″ W. On the back side of the softie is a cloth label with either a prayer or a quote relevant to the Saint. Each Saint Softie is handmade and could have slight variations from the one pictured in this listing.

A Year of Grace: 365 Reflections for Caregivers (5 total in giveaway)

By Laraine Bennet (Our Sunday Visitor)

“Cast all your worries upon him because he cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7

Nationally-known speaker and author Laraine Bennett knows the highs and the lows of the caregiver’s world-she juggles her own work and family life as she helps meet the needs of her talented, artistic mother now completely incapacitated by a devastating stroke.

In A Year of Grace: 365 Reflections for Caregivers, Laraine offers daily respite for the weary caregiver, a chance to recharge and refresh the mind and spirit, and to look anew, with gratitude and hope, at the value of every human life.

Each brief daily reflection includes a Scripture reading or quote, and a reflection for the day. Enlightening, refreshing, and upbeat, A Year of Grace, is a daily reminder for you-the caregiver-of the important role you play to bring Christ’s love to those in your care.

  1. Cassie Guenther on

This is such an AWESOME giveaway! Whomever it lands with is a lucky lady and will be blessed by it. Oh yeah…and the best part of my summer has been our relaxing and non-rushed mornings. Kids get to eat breakfast in their pj’s and mom has time to enjoy TWO cups of coffee 🙂

  2. The best part of the summer so far was attending our Canada Day Parade with the kids. It is a small town parade done well and our kids get so excited for it every year. That and our local August fair are what they look forward to every summer! Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  3. The best part of the summer has been sunshine and the great outdoors! Cook-outs, gardens growing, pool time, wonderful weather, bonfires, and starry nights.

  4. The best part of my Summer has been being able to spend more time with my family and getting some repairs done on the house.

  5. Theresa McG on

The best part of summer for us so far has been getting to go outside in warm weather every day and the beach of course! Nothing seems to make little hearts soar more than playing in the sunshine! 🙂

  6. I have discovered how to use a blog feed service and have SO enjoyed being able to keep up with blogs. I have learned so much and felt so much understanding for being a catholic mom in a Lutheran town!! Thanks.

  7. The best part of my summer is yet to come. I am going to be a grandma x2 this summer and I couldn’t be more thrilled

  8. The best part of my summer has been spending time with my family, enjoying the warm weather, and also enjoying going to the farmers market again.
