Daily Gospel Reflection for October 3, 2014

Today’s Gospel: Luke 10:13-16

Jesus is very clear in His condemnation of the citizens of Chorazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum. He does not sugar-coat His words; he is not politically correct. He tells it like it is. If they don’t believe, they will go to Hell.

There is never any ambiguity with Jesus. If we do not hear, believe, and follow His words that he gives through His prophets and through Holy Mother Church, we too will perish.

Do you truly listen to, accept, and act on God’s word through the many ways He speaks?

Dear Jesus, do not let me reject You.
