As a young child, I often found solitude within the borders of our small front yard lined with a white picket fence. With my mother’s pink hollyhocks blooming behind me, and the front steps on my right, I knew I was close enough to my mama to feel safe, but alone enough to enter daydreams. I remember nestling down into a big, plump inner tube, most likely left behind by one of my older brothers, reclining all the way back far enough to see the clouds and feel the warm sun on my skin.

From this comfy vantage point the Cloud Game began. Shapes and images moved along with the breeze. Could I see something or someone before the clouds moved again? I talked with God about our game and His glorious creativity! Sometimes I still do.

Philipians 4:8  …whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. (NASB)
