Prayer Corner CM FB

Welcome to the Prayer Corner!

In this space, readers are invited to share their prayer intentions and give thanks for prayers answered. When requesting prayer, please only list the first name or first initial to protect privacy. You can also simply mention that you have a special intention.

Each Monday as we begin a new week, we will open a new Prayer Corner.

We do not have to talk very much in order to pray well. We know that God is there in His holy tabernacle; let us open our hearts to Him; let us rejoice in His Presence: This is the best prayer.
–St. John Vianney

Thank you for your prayerful intercession for all of the intentions listed here.

  1. I pray, and ask for prayers, for the church where I work. They are going through a difficult transition and people are acting unkind to one another. It is sad to see and a difficult place to work right now, but I pray for the strength to guide them and overcome the problems, keep a positive attitude and help these people as they are hurting right now.
I also ask for prayers for Laura and Paul who are battling a terrible fight and for Rita in her recovery from surgery.

  2. Please pray for my sister’s father in law, who was just diagnosed with liver cancer.

Also please pray for my husband, battling continued illness and unemployment. And that I may have the grace to keep my cool during this difficult time.
