Teens are usually disengaged at Mass not because they don’t care about God or don’t want to know Him but because no one has ever connected the dots between the ritual and the relationship. Altaration acknowledges “the elephant in the sanctuary” as Mark Hart calls it, encouraging and challenging teens to take another look – a deeper look – at the liturgy and all that heaven is doing here on earth through it.

  1. I love Altaration and Ascension Press resources in general. We have been using Altaration clips for high school youth group, and my daughter has been preparing for confirmation with Chosen. I also learned a great deal from the first part of the Symbolon series last spring and love the Fr. Mike Ascension Presents videos that have been coming out fairly frequently on their YouTube channel.
