"Her Baby" Music Video Extends Christmas Joy

1

I had the good fortune of meeting Brook McCarthy at a speaking event last summer. During the course of our beautiful chat, Brook sang me a song she had written. Her song and her songwriting are Brook’s “Yes”. There were no bells and whistles that day, just Brook’s voice and some amazing words. From the first notes Brook sang, I was hooked. Thirty seconds in, there were tears streaming down my face.

I had the same experience when I listened to a new Christmas song Brook just shared with me. “Her Baby” is a love letter. It has the same “real” feel as when Brook sang to me that day last summer. I’m happy to share it with you today. I urge you to sit still for five minutes, to listen to the lyrics, and to simply realize the joy of the continuation of the Christmas season:
