Children of the world spiritually prepare for the 100th anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima

On October 7th, 2016, Feast of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, Catholic school children, Faith Formation Children, Home School Children and all the children of the world, will spiritually unite their prayers, with the Most Reverend Bishop Cozzens, Bishop of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis who will preside over the 14th Annual Worldwide Children’s Eucharistic Holy Hour. The Archdiocesan Office of Marriage, Family and Life, is collaborating with Children of the Eucharist, Young Missionaries of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in partnership with the International World Apostolate of Fatima for this event. The Minnesota Squires of the Knights of Columbus will also be helping to lead the way in the Holy Hour.

EWTN (www.ewtn.com) will broadcast LIVE the Children’s Eucharistic Holy Hour to over 140 nations, from the Cathedral of Saint Paul, National Shrine of the Apostle Paul on October 7th and the closing of the Holy Hour will be broadcast from the Parish Church of the Little Shepherds of Fatima, Aljustrel, Portugal.

In this ‘Year of Mercy’ gather the children of the world before the Most Blessed Sacrament in an unprecedented 40 hours of prayer for your family and all the families of the world.

In addition, Catholic Organizations and Apostolates such as: OptionC Inc., Missionaries of the Holy Family, CCC of America, CatholicMom, Wine, Women of the New Evangelization, Parents Online, Children of the Eucharist in Ireland and others are uniting to promote this Global Day of Prayer for children everywhere.

For His Holiness. Pope Francis, our Priests and for peace in our families and in the world.

CALL TO ACTION

We ask parishes, schools and families and all Catholic Organizations to simply gather the children before Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament on this global day of prayer, spiritually uniting our world’s children. Marian Procession and Crowning of Our Lady’s statue, Eucharistic Adoration, Prayers of Reparation, Entrustment to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the recitation of the Mission Rosary for the families of the world, are all part of the preparation for the 2017 ~ 100th Anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima.

ENCIRCLING THE WORLD WITH THE PRAYERS OF CHILDREN IN EVERY TIME ZONE, these unprecedented 40 hours of prayer will be giving children throughout the world the opportunity to participate in this global event. A second live broadcast via EWTN will be from the Parish Church of the Little Shepherds of Fatima, Aljustrel, Portugal on First Saturday October 8th, this will complete the Worldwide Children’s Eucharistic Holy Hour.
