Giveaway: Magnificat Advent Companion App for iOS and Android

Each Advent I look forward to using the Magnificat Advent Companion app. Like the Magnificat magazine, the app features daily Morning, Evening and Night Prayers, along with the readings and prayers for each day’s Mass and an Advent meditation.

But the app also boasts features you won’t find in any print magazine, such as chants for Advent. And since it’s on your smartphone or tablet, you can take it with you wherever you go.

This app also includes:

  • Journeying through Advent with Saint Joseph
  • Advent Stations of the Cross
  • Blessing for your Advent wreath
  • Blessing for your Christmas tree
  • Blessing for your Nativity scene
  • Guide to praying the O Antiphons

Launching the app brings you to the daily prayer section. Each day you will find morning, evening and night prayers that are abbreviated versions of the Liturgy of the Hours, as well as an Advent meditation and full text of Mass readings, antiphons and prayers of the day. Selecting the “Order of Mass” tab at the bottom of the Mass page brings you to an index page for a full missal, so you’ll be able to read along with every prayer during Mass.

You can purchase this app through App Store (for iOS version) or the Google Play store or Magnificat website for the Android version. At only $1.99, it’s a bargain: the paper copy is $3.95.

We have our 6 winners for the download codes for this app! The first three comments for each platform were selected as winners. If you didn’t win, visit the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android) to purchase this app for only $1.99!

Magnificat has generously provided download codes for this app for SIX winners: three for iOS and three for Android. Would you like to win this app? Simply leave a comment indicating whether you’re Team iOS or Team Android; the first three replies for each platform will win a download code for the app!

Here is another team Android. I must admit that I tried earlier to register but somehow never got to comment section as I keep reading another article. Guess I wasn’t meant to get the app. I am ok with that.:)
