We all need a little help when it comes to gift giving, don’t we?! I interviewed the smartest, coolest guy I know to get a few suggestions: my husband, Curt!
I asked him to give me a list of tech gift items that a guy (or really, any cool gal) might like. We’ve tried to keep the price pretty low, so you won’t see an iPad or expensive computer on the list.
Take a look and see if you find something to add to your list – for your hubby, dad, son, or even yourself!
“We don’t live in a very cold climate, but man, if we did, these would be the gloves to buy! These gloves let you keep your fingers warm while operating your touch-sensitive phone, music player, tablet or computer.”
“I work in the medical industry, and while I’m not a germophobe, I’m probably close. This phone sanitizer seems like it could be a good gift for someone looking for a way to keep their phone and its accessories clean.”
“This is a vintage take on the iPhone case/wallet. It actually looks like a vintage book, and opens up to hold your phone and a wallet compartment. Real leather. So, if you know someone who loves their iPhone, but also loves old school books, this might be the perfect thing!”
“These are really great, noise-canceling headphones. They are ‘in-ear’ ear buds. Klipsch has produced good products for years and they have a full, rich sound. A good alternative to those really expensive Bose Headphones.”
“These would be great for the office! Simple magnetic animal photo holders. Something to make your coworkers smile.”
“Our family loves the Magnificat. While I prefer the actual book version, having the Magnificat app is helpful when I’m traveling or at work. One of the best apps on my phone!”
“I would never take my phone in the water. But that’s just cool! Have a beach vacation planned for the summer, or do you spend a ton of time at the pool? Try it out!”
“This turns any surface into a keyboard by projecting an image of the keyboard onto your desk or table, or whatever. You can use this with any tablet, connects to any Bluetooth enabled device. You don’t have to carry around an extra keyboard, and you’ll impress everyone with your coolness!” (I think he’s secretly hinting on this one!)
“This is a really safe and practical way to carry around a laptop and supplies, and keep it all safe and organized.”
“Now, this is just awesome.” Yes, it’s an ice cube version of Han Solo. When he’s frozen in carbonite. We all remember that scene…. There are seven Han Solos, one large and six small. And, evidently you can also make chocolates from the tray as well. Even better. I’m really at a loss for words here, except I think if I got my husband this one thing this year, he’d be totally thrilled!
Do you have any cool, techy gifts that you’d add to the list? Please share!
