Year of Faith Pilgrimage to Italy
With Bishop Michael J. Sheridan and Elizabeth Ficocelli
2013 has been designated as “The Year of Faith” by Pope Benedict XVI. What better way to mark this occasion than a pilgrimage, October 14-24, to the heart and historic center of our Catholic faith – Rome, Italy?
Travel with Bishop Michael J. Sheridan
A Catholic pilgrimage wouldn’t be complete without a spiritual leader and the ability to celebrate Mass. This pilgrimage will be shepherded by The Most Reverend Michael Sheridan, Bishop of the Diocese of Colorado Springs, who lived and studied in Rome for three years, holds a Doctorate in Theology, is a stalwart defender of the unborn, and has a great love for the Catholic Church.
Travel with a Catholic Author, National Speaker and Radio Host
Elizabeth Ficocelli will co-host this pilgrimage with Bishop Sheridan. Elizabeth is a best-selling, award-winning Catholic author of fourteen books for adults and young people. She is a national speaker, a frequent guest on Catholic radio and television, and the host of her own program, “Answering the Call” on St. Gabriel Catholic Radio AM 820.
3 Days in Rome, the Eternal City
The pilgrimage will include three days in Rome in which we will celebrate Mass in some of the oldest and most famous churches and basilicas in the city, tour beautiful art and architectural treasures, and have an audience with the Pope.
Birthplaces of the Saints; Places of Eucharistic Miracles
The eleven day pilgrimage will also include visits to the birth places of Saints and the sites of Eucharistic Miracles including Assisi, Loreto, Siena, and Orvieto, with optional excursions to Pompeii or Tivoli Gardens.
Early Bird Special Bonus!
The first twenty people to register for this pilgrimage will receive a free, autographed copy, of any one of Elizabeth’s fourteen books. You may read more about these books on her website: www.elizabethficocelli.com.
