My Sisters the Saints

My Sisters the Saints

Today, thanks to the generosity of Image Books, I’m happy to announce a new contest. We’ll be giving away ten (10!) copies of the fabulous book My Sisters the Saints by Colleen Carroll Campbell. Released last October, the book remains a consistent bestseller and has brought the saints into the lives of so many. Here’s an overview:

A poignant and powerful spiritual memoir about how the lives of the saints changed the life of a modern woman.

In My Sisters the Saints, author Colleen Carroll Campbell blends her personal narrative of spiritual seeking, trials, stumbles, and breakthroughs with the stories of six women saints who profoundly changed her life: Teresa of Avila, Therese of Lisieux, Faustina of Poland, Edith Stein of Germany, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, and Mary of Nazareth. Drawing upon the rich writings and examples of these extraordinary women, the author reveals Christianity’s liberating power for women and the relevance of the saints to the lives of contemporary Christians.

  1. Sunda Dierkes on

I belong to a Catholic women’s book club, and this would be a fantastic book for us to read and discuss!!!

  2. We hear about the communion of Saints…that they are really spiritually present with us all the time. The more I wrap my head around this thought, it gives me great hope in the darkening times we live in. Colleen Carol Campbell’s book sounds like just what I need to pull back the veil just a little more. I love pondering the notion that the saints are my sisters. (well, the girl ones of course!)

  3. Reading about the saints always enlivens the hope I have for myself and the whole of humanity that if they can live their lives according to the will of God so can we. Great giveaway!
