Human trafficking is modern-day slavery. With 21 million victims worldwide, there are more slaves today than at any time in history.1 Our Catholic faith calls on us to defend life and human dignity, to fight conditions that lead to the enslavement of human beings.
Here are three ways you can fight human trafficking today.
Children who are refugees are more vulnerable to human trafficking, early marriage, and forced labor. When you advocate for refugees and migrants you help keep those in vulnerable situations safe.
By purchasing a Survivor’s Kit For Trafficked Girls you provide a month’s supply of food, medicine, bedding, clothing and hygiene items to women and children who are exploited by human traffickers.
Sexual exploitation and forced labor are the most common identified forms of human trafficking. When we support companies that hire survivors and create healthy, safe work environments, we use our buying power to show companies we care about the people behind the products. All the products featured here support human trafficking survivors.
